Our annual Christmas Boxing Show was held in December of 2022. We welcomed over 450 guests for an incredible night of eating, drinking and above all – boxing!

So many people to thank! Thank you to Paul Catten for sorting the troops with all the coaching team, our fantastic boxers, Kevin Hudson and all of our guests from Wales!

Thank you to all who made the Christmas Boxing Show possible – it was a huge success and we hope to see you all again this year on the 17th December.

More details to follow, we’ll update this page in due course!

We were honoured at the 2022 event to award for the first time the Dan Marshall Memorial Cup. Dan the much loved son of John and Sue Marshall sadly died in 2016. Dan was full of life and will always be remembered by our club with this award.

The award presented by Delicious Orie went to Ollie Shum, who has overcome so much to step through the ropes and box on our show.

Delicious Orie handed the Boxing News Cup to Solaiman Khan (Grange) and Cam Heggie. Their match was awarded ‘Bout of the Night’

Krys Bukowy (winner of the 2021 ‘Best Boxer’ award) outpointed Henry March (Grange) on a split.

Kane McKenzie defeated Rhys Crosby (Chepstow) a day before his 28th birthday. Kane was also named ‘Best Boxer’ of the night.

Tall Paul Bicknell won his bout inside 30 seconds at the 2021 event. However in the 2022 show, Ricky Poole Jnr (Pontypool) won their light-heavyweight contest by stoppage in the third round.

George Masters was up against Alex Northwood (Ludlow). Northwood edged the split points decision after three back-and-firth rounds.
